Kissing Cousins

Well is was a nice visit with family and friends back in the states but way to short. My sister and I had a little bit of time together and were able to at least get the invites stated for my SIL's baby shower and I caught a few snippets of my little nephew and Belle. My sister Gave me some awesome stuff for my Bday(Which I will share in a later post) I also got to raid her stash...that was fun.thanks Cath! I did steal some of her mini albums to do some projects for her so I will share them with you as I finish them. Over the next week as things return to normal I will have a bit more time to work on them. Now I must call it a night as you can see I am still on East coast time now trying to adjust back to England time. Don't forget to enter our blog candy here! Have a wonderful evening. Angela

Passing the time and a bit of Candy.

In between a bit of shopping Belle and I settled down and began on the invitations for my SIL's baby shower. Now I can only show snippits so here it is a bit jumbled and blurry...Sorry but it has to be.
Once they are out We will post the entire card. Cathy and I came up with the layout the other night and it is really adorable. I cannot wait until they are all completed and the SIL sees them. I am not sure if I mentioned about my SIl but this is their first child and my brother and her are very excited since they have been married 15 years and gave up on the whole kids thing years ago. Well miracles happen and we could not be happier for them. My little brother(ok well he is younger at least maybe not littler at 6'6") and his wife will be wonderful parents and really will be good to this kid. Not to mention we can spoil them rotten. Unfortunately because I am in England and due to school we will not be able to make the shower although my sister will be flying down to attend. At least I can help with this little bit. My sister will finish them off after I am done with my part.

Rooster Blog Party from Bella Vista

August 6th is the day for the Bella Vista "Show us your Roosters" Blog party. Now Cathy loves Roosters and has a whole kitchen full of them and since I was going to be home with her during this party I thought we just had to join in the fun. Now I try to buy any Rooster related items I can find for her and some of her items are very old from our mom. The room they are in (the kitchen has always been decorated with roosters from the time my Gran owned the house. I can always remember sitting at the kitchen table looking at the roosters haning on the wall. Now my sister has the house and even though it has been modernized it still retains the Roosters but in a new way. So step on through and take a peek at some of the lovely Roosters.
