The Stamp man ATC's for september

Finally after spending a lovely weekend with the family out and about enjoying the beautiful weather I now have some time to sit and create. Here are my ATC's for the September swap over at The Stamp Man ATC Swaps. This months theme is "the Look" using the freebie stamp in Augusts Craft Stamper if you had it. So this is what I did. After many trial and errors I finally settled on these. I was going to add some embellishments but decided against it as I did not want to overdo them. The stamps used are the freebie from Craft stamper August mag(shown) and Tim Holtz -Spring sprung, Urban tapestry and Artful flight. For the stamp backgrounds I use a mix of Distress inks and their deeper counterparts for the stamping. Last but not least I added some stamping details using Smooch pearl inks and edged the cards in silver, white and gold. Lucky me......

Well while I was in the states I got to spend a little time with my sister and she surprised me with all these wonderful things for my birthday. There were lots of fun papers and stickers reminisent of our childhood and lots of fun quick kutz dies to use in my bigshot.

She also let me raid her stash(too overwhelming)for some minibooks although I did not take a pic of them. Aren't I lucky my sister thinks I am so wonderful....he he....LOL...Guess it's a good thing I have her Bday pres ordered and ready for pickup. although her bday is not till Nov.....Thanks Cath....I love everything. While I was visiting her we also took a trip to Scrappers Cove in Milltown NJ and I got some other fun stuff. Hop on over to my blog if you want to see that. Now I need to finish putting everything away(papers take the longest since I categorize and file them accordingly) then I can enjoy a bit more crafting time with my daughter.
